CITY OF STANFORD 2025 Calendar of Events

*Monday Muster Veterans Breakfast at First Southern Veteran’s Park is every 4th Monday of the month except for holidays (3rd Monday).

August 8-Annual Back to School Block Party from 6:00-8:00 pm at the LCHS Parking Lot.
August 9-Second Saturday 250 History Program. Visit Logan’s Fort, Old Presbyterian Meeting House, Historic L & N Depot (open from 10:00-2:00), and the William Whitley House site for tours from 10:00-3:00.
August 12- Stanford-Lincoln County Tourism Meeting at 2:00 at the L & N Depot.
August 15-Wilderness Trail Car Cruise-In on Mainstreet from 5:00-8:00 pm.
August 16- Miss Wilderness Trail and Miss Sportsman’s Hill Pageant 6:00 pm at the LCHS Underwood Auditorium.
August 16- Wilderness Road Music Fest from 6:00-9:00 pm (Rescheduled from July) 
August 24-Spaghetti Lunch to support DYW from 12:00-1:30 pm at the Christian Life Center. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children.
August 31- Ottenheim Picnic Celebration.

September 9- Stanford-Lincoln County Tourism Meeting at 2:00 at the L & N Depot.
September 9-Book Launch/Signing from 4-6 pm at the Kentucky Soaps & Such.  The featured book is Village Life written by Angela Correll.
September 11-Patriot Parade at 6:00 pm.
September 14-Fly Sam Fly 5K. Registration and packet pick up is 1:00-2:15 pm and the race is at 2:30 pm.
September 16-United Way Day of Action 8:30 am-12:00 pm. Sign up on hkuw.org.
September 18-20-Weekend date for the 250th Celebration of Stanford and the Wilderness Road. 
September 18-Dinner on Mainstreet/Memories on Main Exhibit.  Dinner tickets can be purchased at 4 Generations and Stanford City Hall for $40.00 each. Only 100 are being sold.
September 19-Wilderness Trail Car Cruise-In on Mainstreet from 5:00-8:00 pm.   Food, music….
September 20- Wilderness Road Music Fest from 1:00- 9:00 pm with food trucks, music, shopping, etc.
September 20-John Fox Dudderar Day at the L & N Depot.  See flyer for Programs & Activities.
September 25- Fall 2025 Regional Job Fair Expo from 10 am-1:30pm at the Showroom in Danville. 
September 27- Relay for Life Tractor Ride. Tractors will be leaving Veteran’s Park at 10:00 am traveling to Logan-Hubble Park for lunch. Lunch is $10.00.
September 27- Distinguished Young Women (DYW) Program begins at 6:30 pm at the LCHS Underwood Auditorium. 
September 28 - Wilderness Road Marathon (Full, one half and 10K) Register on Run Sign Up.

October 3- Bourbon Chase- The Great Pumpkin Contest on Mainstreet in Stanford.
October 14-Stanford-Lincoln County Tourism Meeting at 2:00 at the L & N Depot.
October 17-Wilderness Trail Car Cruise-In on Mainstreet from 5:00-8:00 pm.
October 18- Wilderness Road Music Fest from 5:00- 9:00 pm with food trucks, music, shopping, etc.
October 25-Household Hazardous Waste Event from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm at the LC Recycling Center.

November 11-Stanford-Lincoln County Tourism Meeting at 2:00 at the L & N Depot.
November 21-Pink Friday- Shop Small First.
November 29-Shop Small Saturday

December 5-Christmas Tree Lighting-6:00 pm
December 6-Christmas events at the L & N Depot, Presbyterian Meeting House, Logan’s Fort/Museum.
December 6-Christmas parade at 6:00 pm. 
December 7- Christmas Open House at the Ottenheim Immanual Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm. 
December 7-Jingle Bell Jog begins at 2:30 pm.
December 13 & 14-Christmas on the Wilderness Road Open House at the William Whitley House from 1:00- 4:00 pm.
​December 25th -26th​ – Christmas Holiday – City Hall Closed.
